Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum
Digital marketing transformation, CRM, social & website
Building a more structured, measurable marketing approach for an independent museum.
Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum tells the story of Gloucestershire's soldiers and their experiences across more than 300 years of military history. I was brought in to strengthen its marketing activity, improve its digital foundations and help the museum reach new audiences.

The challenge
Marketing activity had previously been largely reactive, with an opportunity to create a more structured and measurable approach across digital channels.
The museum also needed to improve its online customer journey, strengthen its brand presence and create better foundations for audience growth, engagement and future fundraising.
The approach
I developed a more integrated digital marketing approach spanning social media, email, CRM, local discovery, content and the website.
Alongside ongoing marketing activity, I helped establish stronger systems and processes, giving the museum a clearer framework for planning, delivering and measuring its marketing.
What I delivered
Digital marketing strategy and planning
Social media strategy and content
Email and CRM strategy
Klaviyo implementation

5.6K Instagram interactions
17K+ Google Business Profile views
496 website clicks from Google

21 new email subscribers
4.6/5 TripAdvisor rating
Social activity, local discovery and email marketing all became more structured and measurable, while the museum's digital foundations were strengthened for future growth.
The impact
The project moved the museum towards a more proactive, consistent and measurable marketing approach, helping it reach new audiences while creating stronger digital infrastructure for the future.
From reactive marketing to a strategy built for growth.
